Inactivity widens your band
Stop playing and your rating loses confidence rather than value. Come back and it tightens again.

Common questions
Can I lose rating for playing up?
No — playing a higher band never lowers your rating. Beating a stronger opponent counts for more, and losing to one costs you less than losing to someone in your own band.
Is this the same as Fargo or APA?
No. It’s built on a similar idea — rate players by how they actually perform — but it’s calculated independently from your confirmed CueContactPro matches, not imported from another system.
Who can see my rating?
Anyone you’re matched with can see your band and number, since it’s part of how we pair you fairly. The match history behind it stays private.
